Wrea Green Equitation Centre

Wrea Green Equitation Centre

Christine Pollitt purchased a 17th century barn, farm buildings and surrounding land just outside the village of Wrea Green in 1981. The land was cleared and an Indoor Riding School was erected together with some of the farm buildings being made into eight stables ready for the launch of Wrea Green Equitation Centre in October 1982.

The Centre now has facilities for thirty horses and ponies together with a heated spectator gallery, refreshment and advertising room plus a variety of warm dry comfortable lecture rooms.

Our standards of excellence in both tuition and customer care are delivered by our highly qualified, motivated Instructors and Management Team.

Our range of lessons start from the age of four upwards and we are able to cater for able and disabled riders. Lessons can either be taught astride or side saddle. Lessons are designed to be informative and interactive making learning interesting and fun.

Our carefully selected horses and ponies are chosen not only for their quality and ability but also their patience and willingness to offer our riders the levels of training required in a secure indoor school. Please note we do not cater for livery customers.

For the more advanced riders we can offer outside riding facilities of summer paddocks with cross country training fences and a course of show jumps.

"Our aim is to offer the best facilities for horse and rider."
